To create a heatmap, navigate to Heatmaps.

Enter a name and URL for your heatmap and click Create heatmap.

Note that currently you can only generate heatmaps for URLs that (i) have recorded sessions, and (ii) do not require login authentication.

At this time, Session Rewind’s heatmaps are ideal for marketing initiatives to track engagement across publicly accessible content and landing pages.

Allow-listing IP addresses for heatmaps

Session Rewind may encounter issues accessing your pages to generate heatmaps if you are using Cloudflare or another WAF (web application firewall) solution.

To get around this issue we recommend adding the IP address 13.58.200.173 to your IP allow-list. For Cloudflare we recommend following their instructions here.
