Once a session has fully loaded, you will see all the metadata and controls below:
- 1: Purple on the timeline indicates that the recorded user was actively moving their mouse.
- 2: Gray on the timeline indicates the recorded user was either not on the tab or not actively moving their mouse. The session will automatically skip inactive periods as there is effectively nothing to see.
- 3: Controls to play, pause, rewind 15 seconds, skip 15 seconds, and see how much time has lapsed and is left within the session (including inactive time).
- 4: Play back the session at 1x speed, 2x speed, 4x speed, or 8x speed, along with the ability to enter fullscreen mode.
- 5: The recorded user’s local time at the current moment in the session.
- 6: The recorded user’s email address if the user is identified, otherwise a default value, along with the time at which the session began in the admin’s local time.
- 7: Any session metadata set by the Installation script or SDK.
- 8: Any user metadata set by the Installation script or SDK.
- 9: The country and IP address of the recorded user.
- 10: The Resolution, Browser, and Operating System of the recorded user.
- 11: The ability to save the session or share the session.
- 12: Past sessions from the same recorded user.
- 13: The ability to toggle from Details to Timeline and see interactions and issues.
By clicking Timeline, you’ll see the following information:
- The ability to expand/collapse timeline information to include or not include any issues.
- The ability to enable/disable timeline autoscroll while watching the session.
- The ability to expand/collapse the css tree of any interaction.
- The ability to save and name any interaction.
